Description: This layer derives a bus route frequency for Dunedin bus services. High-frequency services are defined as services with 20 or more typical weekday services between the hours 8am to 6pm. The data is sourced from the ORC website: https://www.orc.govt.nz/transit/google_transit.zip.
As bus services can change over time, this process has been scripted and can be updated periodically.

Description: Process;- 10m resolution of Dunedin- 10m elevation added (rural max height)- DTM subtracted from the flight fan.- Areas that were below zero (ie intersected with the flight fan) were included in this feature class
Description: This dataset is to accompany:GNS Science Consultancy Report 2015/34. Identification of areas possibly susceptible to landsliding in the coastal sector of the Dunedin City district. GeologicallySensitiveArea polygon feature class depicts places where the relatively weak geological formations of the Matakea Group (Henley Breccia) and Onekakara Group, excluding Taratu Formation, are mapped at the ground surface. The Onekarara Group strata included in this classification are Wangaloa Formation, Abbotsford Formation, Green Island Sand, and Burnside Mudstone. These formations are included because they are mapped as a single unit in the Geological Map of New Zealand 1:250 000 database (Heron 2014). Although the Wangaloa Formation is marine sandstone that is not known to have been involved in notable slope instability, it not separated from the other formations in the existing geological database. GeologicallySensitiveArea include places where these classified rocks are covered by poorly consolidated sediments. This data includes 200 m buffers intended to accommodate imprecision in the positioning of geological boundaries on the regional-scale map from which the polygons are taken. The maximum scale(zoomed in)for the use of this data is 1:50,000.
